DOMAIN New level of classification Most broad Includes –Archaebacteria – bacteria living under extreme conditions –Eubacteria – the Germs –Eukaryote

Binomial Nomenclature Linnaeus’ 2 name naming system 1 st name = genus 2 nd name = species Only 1 st word is capitalized and both words are underlined seperately Ex. Homo sapien

Relationships The more taxon 2 organisms have in common, the more similar they are They have similar traits and body shapes Ex. Canis familiaris and Canis lupus
