Allow time Allow time to connect with other PBIS participants. Allow time to take in PBIS information. Allow time to implement PBIS. Allow time for reflection. Commit yourself to your plan.

Prevention Rules Routine Matrix Build partnership with families. Build on consistency between school and home. Incorporate PBIS into plans or supports being utilized in your agency.

Rules Limit to 3-5 rules Rules posted in the classroom with pictures. All staff teaching to the agreed rules. Teach to the rules through out the day. Involve families to participate in the rules at home.

Tucker Turtle Puppet Posters Teach to Tucker in large or small groups. Show not tell. Make your own Tucker posters. Create your own turtles. Send home poster with letter so families can practice at home. Take PBIS into your community.

Have fun with PBIS Think of your children’s needs. Think of your classroom’s needs. Think of your families needs. Be creative Give clear directions/ expectations and purpose of the activity. Be consistent. Reflect.
