Impact of Going Coastal By actually getting our “hands dirty” and seeing first-hand the array of garbage in the marsh, we realized the difference just a few hours of clean-up with just a small group can actually do for the environment. 40+ bags of trash accumulated in just under two hours. Soda cans, fireworks, wrappers, oyster netting, a flip flop, just to name a few.
