1 MICRONESIA AIP PROJECT STATUS UPDATE

2 AIP Reauthorization On December 12, 2003, the President of the United States of America signed H.R (FAA Vision 100 – Century of Aviation Reauthorization Act), Public Law No , making Micronesian airports eligible for Airport Improvement Program (AIP) discretionary funds FY2004 TO FY2007.

3 AIP PRIORITY RANKING SYSTEM
Safety (FAR Part 139 & ICAO Annex 14) Reconstruction (Airfield Pavements) Standards (Design Criteria) Capacity (Parallel TXY, RWY, etc).

Safety - ARFF Reconstruction - RUNWAYS

5 ARFF VEHICLES ARFF Vehicles & Equipment for all Micronesian airports to meet equivalent FAR Part 139 AIP Grants issued FY2004 CPA assisting in bulk procurement Same vehicles throughout Micronesia Specs Advertised April/May 2005

6 NEW ARFF BUILDINGS ARFF Buildings at all Micronesian airports to house new ARFF Vehicles AIP Grants FY2005 AE contracts awarded - Palau, FSM Relocate SAWRS to ARFF Building
