District #:5 Request: To consider a substantial change to the approved Cypress Lakes Planned Development/ Land Use Plan (PD/LUP) to (1) grant a waiver from Section 38-1254(1) to allow a ten (10) foot PD perimeter in lieu of the required twenty-five (25) foot setback, and (2) to reduce the paving setback from twenty (20) feet to seven (7) for Parcel P. The justification for this waiver is that there is property adjacent to this parcel that has Commercial zoning, and therefore reduced setbacks, consistent with this request. Also, the development program has been modified, and will now include 40,000 square feet of retail uses, 40,000 square feet of sit-down restaurant, and 1,440 timeshare villas.
