7. Ozone layer thickness does not show significant seasonal changes during the years of monitoring (2007 – 2011). The exceptions are the periods during October 2010 and October-December 2011 when values below 220 DU were recorded. These values correspond to the ozone hole. We do not have explanation for this appearance, in the moment. Possible explanation is pollution from unknown source, local, but more probable the distant one …
