University-Industry Partnerships Grand debate, conflict of interest, and other pot holes. “ You do not do partnerships because they are easy. In fact they are hard. You do partnerships because you can attack bigger, more important problems.” UCF does not require faculty to work with industry but… We encourage it, we facilitate it, and we provide incentives for it.

UCF Incubation Program ♦ Today serves 64 clients and 23 graduates. Clients have created 900 jobs @ $60k avg. salary, generate $200m+ annual revenues, secured $170m+ investment capital ♦ Stakeholders today are UCF, Orange Co., City of Orlando, FHTCC, Seminole Co., and Metro Orlando EDC, Winter Springs, etc. ♦ NBIA Incubator of the Year in 2004
