1 Space Exploration History Site Site Summary The project that I created is an informational website that describes United States Space Exploration history. Throughout recent years, "America's Space Achievements have gained my interest. I hope to inspire viewers to follow NASA. The website will document America's progression through manned Space Exploration, with sub pages for every launch series, (Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Shuttle). Upon landing on the moon, humans expanded their footprint from one celestial body (earth) to two (the moon). This is a great example of a majestic point in history and these are the kinds of statements that I hope to use in the site to inspire viewers. Ted Davis Designer: Space Site 1

3 Project Strategy Strategy Statement: The project that I want to create is an informational website that describes United States Space Exploration history. Demographics: I plan to provide a Space enthusiast's chosen content for the site by partially observing demographic attributes (interests, residential region, etc). Psychographics: I plan to provide a Space enthusiast's ideal content also by learning their opinions on exploration, favorite space program, or most valued program completed by NASA. The Offering: The offering is a Website documenting United States Space Exploration history, starting from the first sub- orbital flight by Alan Shepard, landing on the moon, to developments today with the new Orion spacecraft. Site functions include, the site summary, (explaining that the site is about U.S. manned space flight history). An E-Newsletter will also be included in the site, with registration available, giving users access to the document repository, (old NASA files, if allowed by NASA). Along with these things the site will contain a search bar, subpages for each manned-mission program, an image gallery, and combination of Social Media. Strategic Positioning: To compete with other Space History Websites, I will need to make sure I offer the most valid information, an attractive visual them for the site, and visual descriptions of spacecraft operated throughout our time in Space. 11 Task Model Andrew Johnson Internet Search Manned Spacecraft & their design Past Astronauts I would like to be better educated about Astronauts that have flown in the past. Missions Better Instructed I wish to view separate pages of each manned mission program and their description/ purpose/ achievements I would like to learn about past spacecraft and their design description because I am going to be an aeronautical engineer. If the site I find does it’s job, I will be better instructed on NASA’s history of space exploration Space Site Andrew, 19 I want to view a site that documents space history to satisfy my personal interest. Requires a site that can inform him in a timely manner. Ted Davis Designer: Space Site 11

12 Task Model Clark Davis Internet Search Mission Photos Apollo Astronauts I would like to learn more about the astronauts themselves. Mission Data I want to recount data from the Apollo missions-(ex. Discoveries, mission objectives, achievements, etc) I wish to view photos from the Apollo images, as a teenager I remember seeing these photos right after they were taken. I want to see them once again. Clark, 59 I hope to remember NASA’s glory days and read up on the Apollo missions.
