7 About the journey to the moon The journey started on July 16, 1969. There were three astronauts. They reached the moon on July 20, 1969. They started their return journey on July 21, 1969. They explored the moon over two hours

8 About the astronauts Nail Armstrong He was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio, on August 05, 1930. He received his Bachelor degree from Purdue University & Masters from the University of Southern California He was the student of Science

9 About the astronauts Born January 20, 1930, in Montclair, New Jersey. Graduated from Montclair High School, Montclair, New Jersey He received a bachelor of science degree in 1951 from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York Buzz Aldrin

10 About the astronauts He was born on October 16, 1890 in Clonakilty, County Cork, Ireland. Graduated from Saint Albans School in Washington, D.C. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, in 1952. Micheal Collins

12 Group Work Write down five sentences about historic events of the Journey to the Moon. First of all, read the text from the passage individually & make 10 groups

13 Questioning Part (Evaluation)  What do you mean by space technology?  When the astronauts departed their journey?  Where was the Neil Armstrong born?  From where Neil Armstrong graduated?  Why the moon is called the sea of tranquility?  Why NASA and NACA stands for?

14 Home Work Suppose you are Neil Armstrong and visited the moon, now write a paragraph from the experience
