Why should we be concerned? Children regularly exposed to second-hand smoke are at risk for : coughing and wheezing chronic ear infections asthma bronchitis pneumonia allergies colds tonsilitis adenoid problems reduced lung function SIDS

Why should we be concerned? A pregnant mother exposed to second-hand smoke puts her baby at risk for : miscarriage stillbirth impaired lung function premature birth low birth weight

Why should we be concerned? Adults regularly exposed to second-hand smoke put themselves at greater risk for : lung cancer heart disease stroke dizziness and nausea increased heart rate and blood pressure eye irritation headaches cough and sore throat

We Need to Protect Ourselves and our Children! Smoke-free home Smoke free restaurants, public places non-smoking sections speak to the manager Advocate for a smoke-free workplace Advocate for policy on smoke- free public places
