Reparations to France In 1825, Haiti agreed to pay 90 million gold Francs - £12.5 Billion in today’s money, before France would recognise it’s sovereignty. The last payment was made in 1947.

Why are we involved?

What was our involvement the the earthquake crisis? Providing food and water Trauma counselling Rebuilding lives – homes, schools, churches Rebuilding communities – supporting small businesses, medical help
