Profile of Ballymun Population Ballymun DED: 19,483 (Source, CSO 2006) Low level of educational attainment and low income Unemployment Rate (ILO): 2002 Ballymun 18.3% Nationally 4.5% Ballymun Job Centre (BJC): NGO, established 1986 due to very high levels of unemployment, social and economic exclusion 79% of BJC clients are under 35
