3 What are complimentary colors? Colors that are directly opposite on the color wheel.

4 Name the 3 secondary colors. green, orange, purple

5 What does “value” refer to in art related terminology? The lightness or darkness of a color….or shades of a color.

6 How do you make purple? mix blue and red

7 How do you make intermediate colors? mix a primary color with a neighboring secondary color

8 How do you make a “tint” of a color? Add white

9 What is a triadic color harmony? One that uses colors that form a triangle on the color wheel… like red, yellow, and blue.

10 What is an analogous color harmony? One which mostly uses colors that share a common color.....say, all colors have yellow in them.
