Definition of Bullying: HB 11-1254 Written or verbal expression, or physical or electronic act or gesture, or a pattern thereof, that is intended to coerce, intimidate, or cause physical, mental or emotional harm to any student

Bully Prevention Best Practices Focus on the social environment of the school Establish/enforce school rules & policies Increase adult supervision in “hot spots” Intervene consistently & appropriately Spend class time on bully prevention
