Top 10 lessons learnt 1.Is the customer ready ? Starting quickly won’t necessarily help you finish earlier! 2.Change is your friend – only if you recognise early and manage together with training 3.Who has the definitive user list ? How hard can this be? 4.Get to know the network – points of failure & Active Directory scope 5.Desktop Configuration & management 6.Watch for integration with apps such as CRM and the like 7.Watch for advanced outlook usage, such as categories, colors or custom additions 8.SharePoint is great for documents …. It’s not a fileserver replacement 9.Don’t assume most of the users mail is not in some.pst file somwhere 10.There will always be a new lesson re-test your plan, timeline and assumptions
