2. G.L.A.D. Observation Charts For Pictures of California Regions. 1. What can you actually see in the picture, for sure? 2. What questions do you have about this picture? 3. What are your predictions about the picture? Each group receives one pencil. Group members circulate together, selecting a picture, one by one, for their response. Only one student writes at a time, based on input from the group. Students take turns writing, and individuals put their initials next to what they wrote. As an extension, the pictures also have specific questions for student responses.
