8 Class Procedures Steve Gerkey Science Solid daily routines and procedures (protocols) promote a smoothly running classroom with productive learning bell to bell. Students learn better and are more comfortable when they know what to expect and how the class environment functions in a variety of learning activities, clear transitions, and start up and end of class protocols.

13 Electronics Policy Phones off and put away (if used, teacher will confiscate and you may claim it in office after school (1 st offense) per Mr. Mahan. Headphones and music off to start class in order to hear directions and participate. During individual assignments, headphones with music are allowed with teacher permission. Gaming (off-task behavior) will be treated the same as phone violation above.
