Ohios Ability to Serve VLJs In general, Ohios airports are well suited to serve VLJ Relatively low acquisition/operating costs 4 to 6 seat jet aircraft 93 airports - > 3,500 rwy 66 airports offer Jet A 90% airports offer instrument approach

System Costs vs. Benefits $117 million in capital projects needed to meet GA airports existing system facility objectives Local planning needs not included General aviation creates impacts of $1.7 billion annually Federal funding for GA is approximately $31 million annually

Conclusions Ohio State Airport System gives more than it gets! $10.5 billion in economic impact Airport system provides outstanding coverage Moderate growth is forecast $117 million in investments are needed to enhance existing system
