What is the Toolbox? The NACCHO Toolbox is a free online collection of local public health tools produced and developed by members of the public health community Tools are uploaded to the NACCHO Toolbox and placed into corresponding Toolkits Currently there are 26 Toolkits in the NACCHO Toolbox You MUST register with NACCHO.org before gaining access to the Toolbox What is the Toolbox? What is a Toolkit? Stored in the 26 Toolkits are over 2,500 Tools A few toolkit examples are: Accreditation Preparation, Chronic Disease Prevention, Communications, Epidemiology, EQUIPh, Food Safety, Health Equity and Social Justice, Influenza, Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health… and many more! Tool Submission Formats – Tools can be submitted in the three formats: Provide contact information of the institutional author of the tool or the distributor of the tool. Anyone interested in the tool will have to contact that author to receive the tool Provide a hyperlink to another internet location where the tool is hosted or stored Upload the tool itself with the institutional author’s permission. The NACCHO Toolbox can be accessed from the home page of naccho.org. Users must register with naccho.org in order to download tools from the Toolbox. It is free to register and free to use.
