Each job block has three parts: 1.Dates, title and company Bold and underlined for easy identification Dates include months and years, followed by a colon This part ends with a dash 2.Core responsibilities 2-4 sentences ideally would come from your job descriptions, but you may need to create them yourself always start with an action verb! Can’t fit your responsibilities in 4 sentences? Maybe you need to revisit your priorities in your job The basics of resume writing (VII) This is the ONLY time when you use a timeline to present your career. During the interview you use a different structure.
