2. ABOUT THOMAS EDISON Born February the 11 th in 1847 at Ohio U.S. He married Mary Stilwell in 1871 and he married Mina Miller in 1886-1931. He had 3 children called Marion Edison in 1873-1965 Thomas Edison in 1876-1935 William Edison in 1878- 1937.

3. Thomas Edison's job In 1879 Thomas Alva Edison invents an incandescent electric light bulb. Thomas Edison spent many frustrating months of research before he made a perfect glowing kind of filament for his light bulb. And he also made the First light bulb.

4. Power use Ever since Thomas Edison invented light bulbs we don’t have to use candles, fire and matches just for light. The demand led to construction of the first electricity generating station in the 1880s.
