Dan McCready Double Time Capital Moderator Dan McCready is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Double Time Capital, a Charlotte-based investment firm making direct investments in cleaner American energy. He was formerly a Consultant at McKinsey & Company and a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Dan is also the Founder of www.thisland.com, a social enterprise promoting handmade American craftsmanship. Dan earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Duke University.

Rebecca Rogers Self Help Credit Union Rebecca Rogers is Assistant General Counsel and a Renewable Energy Loan Officer at Self-Help, one of the nation’s largest community development financial institutions. In almost 13 years with the organization, Rebecca has helped grow the national reach, sector diversity and financial scale of Self- Help’s commercial lending. Starting in 2013, Rebecca has led Self-Help’s lending to renewable energy projects, deploying $76 million to date to finance the construction of more than 144MW of solar energy facilities in North Carolina, as well as developing Self-Help’s renewables capacity in states from Maryland and Virginia to California. A graduate of Wellesley College and Carolina Law, Rebecca was with Moore & Van Allen’s finance practice in Charlotte prior to joining Self-Help.

Caitlin Blaidsell Radian Generation Caitlin Blaisdell is a Business Development Manager at Radian Generation, a dedicated asset management firm specializing in owner advocacy and management of solar assets, providing project investors, owners, and lenders with the comprehensive management services necessary to ensure their projects perform contractually, technically and financially. Caitlin leads the Business Development efforts in the south east and joined the Radian team after her introduction to the solar industry by working in sales and operations with a leading. solar racking company. Ms. Blaisdell earned a M.S. in Negotiation from Columbia University, and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

2015 State Energy Conference Think and Do Financing and Managing Solar Assets Biography Mike Goolden is president of L7 Performance Management and L7 Capital; L7 is a provider of equipment & renewable energy project financing and leasing solutions Mike, through his career, has completed over 100 renewable energy financing and leasing transactions Prior to founding L7, Mike was General Manager with several global fortune 500 companies, including over 20 years with General Electric Capital. His roles included sales, credit, Vice President of Global Six Sigma Quality, General Manager & President of small business lending. Mike’s individual lending credit authority was $1.5 million per customer. Mike Whitson PCG Solar Mike studied mechanical engineering and business management at North Carolina State University and project management at Boston University. Mike is NABCEP certified and holds a NASCLA unlimited general contractor’s license along with OSHA 30 certification. He trained under renowned Bill Brooks, developing innovative forward thinking PV systems with superior safety and performance. Recently he lead the team to build the largest string inverter PV plant in the world, in North Carolina, breaking new ground in long term cost of ownership. In an effort to create a superior asset class of PV systems, Mike founded the Quality PV effort in partnership with The Renewable Energy Center at NCSU and Solar ABC”s to drive the cost of insurance and capital down through increased confidence in the quality of a PV system. This led to the founding of the ASTM E44.09 WK43549 ICOMP (Installation, Commissioning, Operations and Maintenance of Photovoltaic) working group and approved standard.
