Hi, Sally. This is Candy. Hello. Hi, Candy. Are you going to talk about our boat trip? Have you gone through the maps and information brochure of the islands?mapsinformation brochure

Of course. I’ve got a brilliant idea for where we should go for our outing.a brilliant idea outing Which island have you chosen?

How about taking a boat trip to Cheung Chau Island? It’s only an hour’s ferry ride. It’s a beautiful island. We can either sunbathe or relax on beautiful Tung Wan beach. There will be the sound of the sea lapping on the shore. I like to hear the sound of waves. What do you think?Cheung Chau Islandsunbathethe sea lapping on the shore Fantastic! It will be even more exciting if we can go on the day of the Bun Festival. There will be more activities and it will be exciting to watch the float procession. Shall I ask Mary if she likes this idea?the Bun Festival the float procession

Sure. Let me know what she says. Okay. I’ll call you back after I talk to Mary.

Hello, may I speak to Mary? Speaking. This is Mary.

Hi, Mary. This is Sally. Candy called and we talked about visiting Cheung Chau Island. Hmmm. Not a bad idea. But if you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery, then we should be going to Lamma Island. There are cute little villages like Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan for us to explore. There’s a family trail linking these two villages. We can walk along the coastline. If we have enough money, we can even have a good seafood meal.Lamma IslandYung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan a family trail coastline

Great! I’m also interested in Lantau Island which is the biggest island with very stunning scenery. The hiking trails are popular among hiking teams. If we like, we can have a vegetarian lunch.stunning sceneryhiking trails Oh, dear! This is tough. Whose idea shall we choose? How are we going to decide as these three islands are all so wonderful?

It’s really difficult to decide. We’ll have to meet with our classmates and put it to a vote. I’ll discuss this with Candy. Okay. See you then. Bye.
