Warm-Up Time? Warm-ups - Required Daily - usually located on the board You need… –A pencil (sharpened) –Paper –Spiral/Journal –All other materials requested by teachers

What Do I Do If… Restroom Breaks Not while I’m teaching If there is an emergency, you must sign in and out If any problems occur while you are out of the room, you will only be allowed out with an escort Restroom break policy is determined by the office SHOW RESPECT TO ALL SCHOOL PROPERTY Clean up after yourself NO TAGGING NO Graffiti DO NOT WASTE SUPPLIES Report any problems to your teacher immediately

What Do I Do When… I’m absent –M–Make up all work –I–It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO GET ALL ASSIGNMENTS –A–Ask to copy notes –A–Ask for assignments/worksheets –T–TURN IN WORK! Sharpening Pencils –B–Before Class – during transitions – keep several in your zipper pouch

Homework Policy Edgewood ISD and Winston Elementary have a homework policy that states: 20-30 minutes of homework will be given each night in the core subjects: Reading, Math, Science, History A Homework Agenda is MANDATORY
