A complete set of working drawings include; site plan, foundation Plan, floor plans, Elevations, Sections, Details etc.

The bill of quantities is essential for the purpose of a competitive tendering. This is because they provide equal basis for all tenders.

It has a little difference from the BOQ in that it contains no quantity and pricing column. Its only purpose is to furnish rates for valuation of variation which can occur in the course of the contract.

The contractor also makes a declaration regarding the fact that he has read the conditions of contract and has also taken it into consideration in pricing the bill of quantities. 10.0 CONCLUSION It is safe to say that all tenders must be carefully considered. This is because the lowest tender may not be the best.
