2. Sin is: 1) God and going our own way. 2) Trying to our sin with religion or our own good works. That is the ROOT of sin, which gives rise to the fruit of sin – lying, stealing, adultery, jealousy, lust, anger, selfi shness, etc 2Following Jesus: Lesson Two

4. (C) Why should a “good” man repent? Now what about you?  Was it Jesus’ initiative and love that brought you to repentance or your own? 5. (D) What does believe mean? Jesus is not just saying, “Believe in your minds.” He is saying, “Trust me! Trust that I love you and I know what is best for you. Follow me!” Reading God’s Word Let’s read together from Mark 8.27-38. Let’s rephrase the second question now.
