This animal is a mammal. The horse’s body covering is fur. It’s fur can be the colors white, tan, brown, and black. You can tell a horse is a horse by looking to see if it has a mane and the horse can neah. The horse’s appearance helps this animal survive by having long ears and eyes. What does the Horse look like?

What does the Horse eat? The horse eats grain and hay. This animal goes on domestic diets. Horses walk slow while having a mouth full of hay. The horse is a natural grassland grazer.

The Horse's Home or Environment The Horse can live on the coastline of Spain and France. In different areas of Australia. The barrier islands of Virginia is also a place where these animals live.

How the Horse Protects Itself The hoofs on a horse can kick you anywhere if they don’t feel safe. You can pet horses on the back to not get kicked. This animal also protects itself by having a short tail to swat insects.

The Horses Babies.All horses are seasonal breeders. In fifteen to twenty minutes a foal is born. A foal follows its mother and stays close to her for the first few days of life.
