2. How Does Your Animal Look  My animal has a shaggy mane. The color of my animal is yellowish-gold. It has four canine teeth and sharp claws.

3. Tell About The Size Of Your Animal  Males grow larger than females, reaching up to 10 feet long and females up to 9 feet long [plus 2-3 foot long tail.] Males weigh from 330-550 lbs. and females from 265-395 lbs.

4. Tell Where Your Lives [Habitat] Lions live in African. They live on sunny grasslands. The pride lives on it’s own stretch of grasslands called a territory.

5. Tell What Your Animal Eat And How It Gets It’s Food  It eats meat like zebras and wildebeest. It stalks its prey. They keep their head and body low in the grass. Lions leap to bring down their prey with strong paws and sharp claws. After eating well lions don’t need to hunt for a couple of days.

6. Interesting Facts  The largest males protect the pride. Their hairy manes make them look strong and fierce. Lionesses do most of the hunting. Lions like to spend most of the day sleeping. The live about 15 years. A lion’s roar can be heard up to 5 miles away.
