2 Possessives Possessive means “belongs to”.
A possessive noun needs an apostrophe “s” (‘s) A possessive pronoun does not need an apostrophe “s” (‘s) *Some possessive pronouns are: her, hers, his, its, our, ours, and their

3 Examples: Tim becomes Tim’s he becomes his she becomes her girl becomes girl’s dog becomes dog’s

4 Work with your learning partner to come up with 2 more examples of possessives.
