Using commas in a series
Another word for series is “list.” Commas are used to separate words. Commas are placed after each item in a list, except the last item.

Examples: Red, white, and blue are the colors used on many flags.
States in America include Texas, California, and Oregon. My uncle collects flags, stamps, and maps.
