2. Multimedia: Highlight 1 Our multimedia portion of the course was taken place throughout the week of September 22 nd, 2003 which is according to the syllabus week four. Our multimedia portion of the course was taken place throughout the week of September 22 nd, 2003 which is according to the syllabus week four. –I had a sense of certain multimedia qualities but after completing this assignment, I had learned new things such as how to use a hit counter, banner ad, transition for pages and so forth. As well as a wider sense of old things such as midi files and backgrounds also with gif files. –Multimedia is indeed a great part of the technological world for the 21 st century, and to learn such qualities as I had done is truly a step forward towards that world if not anywhere else.

3. Java Script: Highlight 2 Java Script was shown to us during the week of October 6th, 2003 in which according to the syllabus was week six. Java Script straight forward is like special effects towards your website or page on the internet. I had never done Java Script before so this was all new to me. –E–E–E–Effects for text, visual, audio and so forth are to say the least when your dealing with Java Script. It’s to add more quote unquote “Zing” to whatever it is your working with. Something to look forward to both for the creator and visitor of that particular website. Things that we can all look forward too and perhaps talk about when visited upon to begin with.

4. Flash: Highlight 3 Flash Consisted of work orchestrated from a program entitled macromedia flash mx. This was done in the week October20th and October 27 th, which was week 8 and week 9 according to the syllabus. Flash Consisted of work orchestrated from a program entitled macromedia flash mx. To learn how to do actual animation that can add on or add to the creation of a website is without a doubt remarkable. Learned such things as basic animation, morphing, the use of buttons etc. and had fitted all of that into an actual website, this portion of the class I liked because whether I would put it in my own website or that of an employer it gives that much more of an ability that I can do and add out there for the world to see at just the tip of my fingers.

5. Video: Highlight 4 Video was basically the part of our course that had given us the opportunity to create an actual video with microsoft windows xp movie maker. This was in the week November 17 th, and November 24 th ; both week 12 and 13 according the syllabus. This was in the week November 17 th, and November 24 th ; both week 12 and 13 according the syllabus. –The creation of the movie was done using clips from Southern’s soccer team. Most of the parts that were done while creating the movie were relatively easy. Learned about transition, end and beginning credits, effects to add on to the actual movie clips and so forth. It was a highlight because it was a piece of the course that showed high interest to me. As well knowing for a fact that this knowledge right here is one of the key points into working for a company that may deal with stuff like this. An occupation I hope to attain sometime in the near future.

6. Conclusion: To indeed be foretold, I had learn much while living my time in this computer science course. I knew for a fact that I would be interested and enjoyed myself if doing so and I can see that I had fulfilled much. With Highlights such as the one’s explained before, all I can say is that all the knowledge that I’ve attained I will for sure but them into account of my future career goals and occupation. Whether it be for my personal gain or that of my professional one. To indeed be foretold, I had learn much while living my time in this computer science course.
