We have learned that a mutation occurs when there is a mistake or an error made in any genetic information ( wrong amount of chromosomes, sequencing of the nitrogen bases changes, or even where genes or located). Now after learning about cellular reproduction, we know when body cells undergo rapid, uncontrolled growth that’s considered cancer. Meiosis is the reproduction of gametes. When a sperm enters an egg that’s called fertilization and a zygote forms. But what if some sort of error occurs during fertilization….what if a person who is pregnant with fraternal twins somehow learns that those twins merged to become one individual? Could that happen? And if so how would this effect a person? ENGAGE
