2. What is deforestation? …... Deforestation happens in different ways. Those ways are: natural effects, dry branches, when there is a piece of glass on the ground and the sun heats it very hard it can cause a big fire, because there is a cigarette on the ground the paper can cause a fire also, because the people cut the trees down to make furniture and much more, Because the branches of the trees touch each other they can cause a fire, and the biggest problem of all is that the humans (us) cut down the trees to do different things as furniture, beds, doors etc. The badest of all is that we don’t even notice what we are doing.

3. INTRESTING FACTS # When the tree is alive, it takes the nutrients from the soil to help it grow. When the tree dies the nutrients return to the soil. The plants that are in the same area use the soil that the dead tree used. Those plants use the nutrients to grow. # The time in the year where fires are most produced is in the early spring, also in hot and dry weathers.

4. ………………… # Fires can be caused by: lightning, by glass on the ground and by us (humans) burning them. The fires can also be caused because the sun hits the branches of the trees. # Between the blocks of trees are large paths, they are called rides. They help to stop the fires spreading from one tree to another. Rides are also useful roads felled trees out of the forest.

5. ……………………….. # In summer time a fire keeper is always is duty to have a quick alert. The fire keeper can detect if smoke is entering the forest. # What is the chemical or materials that fire is made of that makes the branches of the trees to burn? The fire is a flame, heat and a orange light when we see something is burning.

6. ……….. # When a fallen tree dies the tree is dead but there is still live in it. An ecosystem is a community of living things and non-living things. When a tree is dead 13 years later a tree is growing from the ol d one. # Fungi and moss grow on the trunk of a dead tree. The tree is used to be a habitat for animals and plants. Those plants and animals are part of a small ecosystem. Each animal and plants have their own role in the ecosystem.

7. ……………………. # When a tree is dead and fallen in the ground it changes in a very slow way. The wood after a time of changes begins to decompose. That means that the wood breaks in tiny little parts, then it crumbles away forming brand new soil. That process takes a lot of tons of years, it does not happen by its self. When we say that that bacteria are braking it. # Rain forest haven't change during millions of years. That is the reason because they are very important.

8. …………………… # People cut down coniferous trees so they can use the wood. The wood from that tree is very is very useful to build because it is very strong. They use that wood to make houses, doors and furniture. # Rain forest trees can be cut down with axes but it takes a lot of time. Modern machines use bulldozers and they cut the trees much more quicker.

9. ………………. # Forest fires can be caused in different ways. Most of the times forest fires are caused by humans (us). It can also be caused in a natural way.

10. WHAT ARE THE EFECTS THAT DEFORESTATION MAKE TO RESOURCES??????????? The effects that deforestation makes to the natural resources are: The air begins to pollute because of the smoke that is released from the forest fires. Also when deforestation happens a lot of wood is lost. That is a big trouble because the human being will cut more trees because the last ones were lost in the forest fires. When we say that the air is polluting is not only it, also the water.

11. What do we know? We know what deforestation is because we have read a lot of books and have research in loads of web pages. So deforestation is when a lot of trees are cut down. Deforestation can happen in many different ways. 2of those ways are: People cut down trees to have paper, boxes etc., or forest fires happen. Forest fires are when people fire a lot of trees or the trees burn in a very natural way. Natural way can be as easy as the hot heat of the sun.

12. How to avoid it … We children can avoid deforestation in many ways. We can recycle at home or at school so less trees are cut down because we use a lot more paper. We can also avoid deforestation in a very fun and easy way as watching video to teach you haw to help to avoid deforestation. And at last if your parent smoke you can tell them to stop because the paper of the cigarettes have a chemical that make that fire produces easily.
