3 Green Energy Initiative (GEI) Joined forces in the green energy field, aiming at: -Increase effectiveness and impact -Stimulating top positions in focus areas -Improved visibility and positioning -Contact point UT for external parties 3 - ‘light organization’ -Temptation and challencesTemptation and challences - Science, Engineering and application

6 Green Energy Initiative Kick-off symposium 6 - Are the ideals of the Initiative shared by the participants ? - Are the present boundary conditions sufficient to start ? - Do we have preliminary programs for the 3 spearhead themes ? - Do we have sufficient examples of running projects within those themes on Science and Engineering, Fundamental and valorisation ?

7 Green Energy Initiative Kick-off symposium 7 -Will our visibility be improved and will we be a more attractive R&D and valorisation partner ? -Do we have sufficient examples of successful projects were Technical Sciences are collaborating with disciplines from Behaviour, Organisation, Governance and Ethics ? -Do we believe in Education and Training on Energy, in the Campus as Green Energy show case, involving students etc. ?
