2. Computer history! The first computer was made by John Atanasoff and Clifford Berry. From 1939 to 1942. The name of this device was Atanasoff- Berry computer

3. Debugggg! The word “debug” came from Grace Murray Hopper. It is used for a programming error. The MarkII computer had to be debugged after a moth made it have an electrical short.

4. The internet evolved from ARPANET and the theory of open architecture networking. It was created in the late 1960s by the ARPA. The internet was created for the us department of defense so they could communicate with each other.

5. Charles Babbage Babbage’s Analytical Engine was designed as a calculating device. It used punch cards to store info. Designed around 1833.

6. The Calculating table. Was made by Herman Hollerith. The purpose of this machine was for the census of 1890. With out the machine it took nine years to count up but with this device it was only seven years not much but it is improvement.

7. It was originally a military project used for counting the trajectory of the artillery shells. Built at the university of Pennsylvania.

8. Program? In the late 30s and 40s a man named Alan Turing came up with the idea of a universal machine. A program, A list of instructions written in a special language that the computer understands.

9. This made computers smaller, less expensive, and more reliable. Made by Shockley, Brittain, and Bardeen.

10. Made in the year 1975. By, Ed Roberts. It is what we pretty much use today.

11. The binary system was used in the atanasoff- berry computer it is still used in computers today. This system only used two digits(0&1) To represent numbers and letters each 0 or 1 represents a bit and an eight but unit is called a byte.
