2  A CRP facility provides residential care, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals who cannot live independently due to a major mental illness.  Facilities promote community reintegration and optimal independence for mental health clients while providing for the level of housing support and supervision most suited to their needs.

3  Willow Manor - Provides support to 14 residents plus 2 residents in a bridging apartment  First Avenue-Kyeta Place - Provides support to 12 residents in five two- bedroom and 2 one-bedroom suites - Focus is on learning skills to live independently - Two-year maximum stay  Topaz Place - Provides support to 12 residents with a psychiatric illness who may also have more complex medical needs

4  Potential residents need to be a client of a mental health centre or a psychiatric unit in a hospital.  They must have a psychiatric diagnosis and require the 24-hour support offered by a CRP facility.  Referrals are sent to a Regional Referral Coordinator who screens the referrals for the entire Fraser Health region. A part of the referral screening is to determine suitability and the facility best suited for the individual applicant. However, not everyone’s needs can be met locally. The Regional Coordinator can refer individual referrals to other facilities within the Fraser health catchment area.
