Carpenter A carpenter is a person who builds houses/buildings. It uses basic math like addition and subtraction. This works out for me because I like math and I’m good at it. You have to calculate the floor and wall. The number of jobs is 218,000. The median salary is $39,940. The unemployment rate is 15.2 percent.

Values and Tasks Values- Getting dirty with wood shavings and mud/dirt. You would have wood shavings all over because you’re going to be cutting wood a lot. You could also have mud/dirt because it could be raining and working. Tasks and Responsibility- Being in control of machinery Some tasks would have to operate saws or drill presses. Responsibility would be if you’re a supervisor you have to watch your workers. You have to watch your co-workers/ workers so they do not get hurt.

Education and training Salary and Benefits Education and Training- High school and or college For education you need a high school diploma and a carpentry apprenticeship Salary and Benefits – How much I would make a year. For the median salary I could make about $40,500 a year. Every hour I work I could make $19. For a high amount I could make $50,912. For a high amount of hourly I can make $24.

Career Outlook International Outlook Career Outlook- How many people work with you However many people they need for the job could be 5-15. International Career Output- How people are carpenters You can be a carpenter where ever you want to.

Lifestyle Career Cluster Lifestyle / Lifestyle goals- Anything I could do anything I want if I can make enough money I could have a nice house, car and family. Its fall under the Architecture and Construction

Professional Athlete A Professional Athlete is someone who plays a sport professionally. It can be complex like football because you have to remember a lot of plays. It could also be easy like volleyball where you try to get the ball on the other side while only using 4 touches by different players. My sport would be soccer. To me it’s easy but it’s probably not when you’re a pro. If I was a pro soccer player id never work a day in my life. It’s played by 250,000 million people. On the pitch there can only be 11 players. But there can be 15- 20 people on a team.

Values Tasks and Responsibility Values- Getting injured and having fun o If you get injured you are out for possibly the season depending on how bad it is. You would be doing what you love to do. Task and Responsibilities- Showing up o Your tasks and responsibilities would be to show up to practice and games and not get hurt.

Working with data-people- things Work Environment Working with data-people-things – Your teammates o You would have to have chemistry with your teammates to do well in games because if you don’t you’re not going to do so well and might lose a lot of games. Work environment- anywhere o You could be playing anywhere on grass, turf, indoors or outdoors

Working Hours Aptitudes and Abilities Working hours- 1-2 hours o You could be practicing for 2 hours but have a game for 1hour and 30 minutes long (90 minutes) plus 2-5 minutes for penalties. Aptitudes and Abilities- nothing o In soccer/pro sports you don’t really learn anything new.

Education and Training Salary and Benefits Education and Training- Only training o For a Pro Sport you don’t need a college degree just need training to get better and better. Salary and benefits- Possibly a million dollars o NBA 5.5 million, MLB 3.2 Million, NHL 2.4 million, NFL 1.9 million
