5 What Turkeys Eat for Thanksgiving I am going to read a story about turkeys in the wild.

6 Comprehension How do you think the author feels about turkeys? How can you tell? How can you tell that the author is impressed by wild turkeys? Why does the author call the turkeys “unfortunate”? She likes turkeys, wants to talk about them as animals instead of food. describes how fast turkeys can run and fly and the unusual foods they eat. They had glass balls and lead cubes pushed down their throats.
