And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. (Rev.13:11-13) He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had* the wound of the sword and has come to life. And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty… Rev.13:17-18

"For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will… "Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. (Matthew 24:1-22)

18 The Point of Revelation Unity is impossible outside the authority of God’s Kingdom. Unity is impossible outside the authority of God’s Kingdom. –All the authority and power in the world can never control autonomous free will. The “greatness of man” is an illusion authored by the “serpent of old”: the god of this world. The “greatness of man” is an illusion authored by the “serpent of old”: the god of this world. –“he deceived all the people who belong to this world…” (Rev.13:14) –The Lie: “For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Gen. 3:5) Outside of God’s authority, Free Will always leads to chaos, destruction and death. Outside of God’s authority, Free Will always leads to chaos, destruction and death. –Which Kingdom deserves your trust and allegiance?

19 Wrong Reactions 1. “This could never happen.” –History is dominated by power-hungry tyrants who aspired to this goal. –Globalization is now in place for the first time:  Weapons of mass destruction are proliferating.  Global commerce technology  At the center of world attention: Israel, Jerusalem & the Temple Movement.

20 Wrong Reactions 1. “This could never happen.” –History is dominated by power-hungry tyrants who aspired to this goal. –Globalization is now in place for the first time. –Biblical prophecy has an outstanding track- record.  Over 150 prophesies describe in detail the First Coming of the Messiah.  Dozens of prophesies describing the modern era fulfilled within the last generation.

21 Wrong Reactions 1. “This could never happen.” 2. Useless Speculation. –National Enquirer Theology. “... Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed (by)... setting himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4 “... when you see the ‘abomination of desolation’ which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then (the end has come).” Matthew 24:15,16

22 Wrong Reactions 1. “This could never happen.” 2. Useless Speculation. 3. Fear: “The world is out of control!” –God is in control. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8 “These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 Which Kingdom deserves your trust and allegiance?
