6 The Content Syndication Set-Up, Part 2 Sign up for a free Hootsuite account Set it up to work with the following: –Facebook (Fanpage if you have one—you have a Fanpage for your business, right?) –Twitter –The Ping.fm account you just set up Hootsuite uses your site’s RSS feed; it polls throughout the day to find new posts When it finds a new post, it sends out a snippet to all the social sites in your HS and Ping accounts

7 “Extras” Backlink the backlinks –Build your social sites’ authority, thereby raising the authority of your site (that they link to) –Build a “mini empire” –“Ping” (different from Ping.fm) all of your links
