The Content Syndication Set-Up, Part 2 Sign up for a free Hootsuite account Set it up to work with the following: –Facebook (Fanpage if you have one—you have a Fanpage for your business, right?) –Twitter –The Ping.fm account you just set up Hootsuite uses your site’s RSS feed; it polls throughout the day to find new posts When it finds a new post, it sends out a snippet to all the social sites in your HS and Ping accounts

“Extras” Backlink the backlinks –Build your social sites’ authority, thereby raising the authority of your site (that they link to) –Build a “mini empire” –“Ping” (different from Ping.fm) all of your links
