1. Welcome to Getting to Know Your Document Camera

2. Connecting Your ELMO Unpack your box and make sure you have all of the parts on the parts list. You will need a solid surface with space to set up your technology Set up the camera in this fashion.

3. The first plug the power cord into the DC power socket on the left when looking at the back of the unit.

4. The second connection would be the USB cord. This cord is the connection to use the Image Mate software.

5. The next cord to connect is the one coming from your LCD projector to the RGB out connection.

6. The last cord to connect to the back of the ELMO is the one that came with your ELMO and it will connect to your laptop.

7. Now that everything is connected to the back of the ELMO you will need to connect the ELMO to your laptop. To do this you will take the USB cord and insert it into one of your empty USB openings. I do not keep this cord connected all of the time. This is one of those that I only connect when I am using the camera feature as a scanner or recorder.

8. Now we need to connect the projection cord to the laptop. On the Lenovo, the port you need is blue and on the left hand side. You do not screw in the connection it just plugs in.

9. Congratulations! Your ELMO is now ready for use! Your laptop software should already be installed. If for some reason it did not work please follow the directions I will give you and/or send in a request for help. Use your laptop number in the subject line of your email.
