Meet Miss Eadie  Lived in Gwinnett County since 1973  Graduated from Georgia State University in 1993  Graduate degree in Instructional Technology from Walden University  Taught 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, & 4 th grades  Additional training in  Lions-Quest Character Education  Instructional Technology  Multiple Intelligences  Brain-Based Learning  SuccessMaker Software

5. Educational Philosophy I believe that every child can learn, and I will do everything in my power to help your children be successful academically, socially, and emotionally. Since education is a partnership between school and home, I will count on you to reinforce skills that are taught in class. Together, we can help your children become productive citizens!

Classroom Grading  Academic Grades based on daily work, tests, rubrics, projects, and observation.  Behavior: “On the Road to Good Behavior”  Logical Consequences  Thinking Spot  Rewards:  Whole class works for compliments  Groups work for points  Individuals work for daily behavior grades and the chance for weekly ice cream drawing.

10. Homework & Expectations  Homework sent home on Fridays – to be completed by the following Friday  Daily Behavior Folder – Please initial every night  Weekly Newsletter – Sent home on Fridays. This contains school, PTA, and classroom information. Reading this will help you stay informed!  Attendance & Attention – Students learn best if they are present in body and mind!
