You have 2 minutes to gather these things!

3. Daily Grammar Practice – Monday Notes
Write out the sentence and identify parts of speech (noun, verb, adjective, etc.)

Grab your new vocabulary worksheet from the front of the room – we’ll go over the words together, then do the back with a partner.

Day #1 – Read over the article and make annotations (dialogue with the text)

6. INDEPENDENT READING
Please get the book that you selected for independent reading and read SILENTLY for the next 20 minutes.
When I tell you that time is up, please fill out your worksheet (a summary or your thoughts on what you read – at least 5 sentences NOT copied from the book) and put it in your IR folder.

7. Ticket Out
Please write one post it for learned and one for confused & place it on our parking lot on your way out the door.
REMEMBER – “nothing” is not an acceptable answer!
