7. The Great Suggestion? 1. They are a command – not a suggestion! The commission of the Church is not to wait for the world to come to us, but to go out to the world!

9. The Great Omission? To fail to do so could be considered sin! The sin of omission (James 4:17)

11. Is Speaking necessary? (Read 1 Corinthians 1:21 & Romans 10:14) Paul didn’t say “foolish preaching” but “the foolishness of preaching”

12. Is Speaking necessary? Q: What are we to preach? The Gospel! Jesus is not just the great additive to a person’s life to make it a little better. He is the Saviour who can forgive them of all their sins!

13. What is the Gospel? A different gospel is being preached – a “holistic gospel” The Gospel is about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus from the dead (Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-8)

14. What is the Gospel? “We do not need to get worked up about global warming. We need to be far more concerned about a global warning - that people need Jesus Christ and they need to turn to Him.”

15. The iGospel The iGospel – go into all of your world and reach into your own sphere of influence with the Gospel!

17. “Make disciples…” (Read Colossians 1:28) We invite people to follow Christ and we must help them go to their feet spiritually and to move forward. That is our job!

18. “Make disciples…” New believers are like newborn babies! 1.New Believers need protection (Read Galatians 4:19) 2. New Believers need fellowship (Saul who later become the apostle Paul)

20. Am I a disciple? (Read Luke 14:26-35) Some of the most some of the most soul- searching words that have ever fell from the lips of Jesus Three times Jesus said that if we don’t do these things, we cannot be His disciple

21. Am I a disciple? 1. The disciple must love Jesus more than anyone or anything (Luke 14:26) 2. The disciple must deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow Jesus (Luke 14:27; 9:23-24) 3. The disciple must count the cost (Luke 14:28)

23. “Plugged in & switched on?” Question: Are we plugged in to the Holy Spirit? Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
