First Day of school – Tuesday 3 January 2012 For the first day, parents are allowed to join the child. Parents are to wear the NAME TAG of the child. Important details

A letter has been given to parents. Please take note : Attire School uniform with his/her name tag pinned on it. White shoes and socks. Hair should be neatly combed. Girls with long hair should have it plaited neatly with black or navy blue ribbons / hair bands. Important details

Assembly venue and time Pupils are to assemble in the school canteen by 12.30pm. Due to space constraints, only one parent is allowed to accompany each child to the canteen during the 1st day of school. All Primary 1 pupils will be seated in the canteen according to their respective classes. Parents are encouraged to put on their child’s name tag for identification purposes. Important details

A bun / biscuits and drink will be provided for the two days. Pupils will be eating this recess pack. Parents are to pay $2 for the recess pack. Money will be collected later. There will be a P2 pupil to buddy your child from the 3rd day onwards. Your child’s buddy will take care of your child during recess, teach him/her buy food, take him/her to the toilet and show him/her around the school. Recess

Parents / guardians are to pick their children up ( those not going home by school bus ) from the canteen between 6.05pm and 6.15pm during the first week of school. Place cards will be put outside the canteen for parents to line up and pupils will be dismissed class by class. Dismissal

Parents are to tell their children whether they are going home by bus or picked up by them. Pupils going home by the school bus will be guided by the bus attendants to their respective buses.if there is a change in arrangements, please inform the form teacher on the first day of school/. Parents / guardians are to pick their children up ( those not going home by school bus ) from the canteen between 6.05pm and 6.15pm during the first two weeks of school. Pupils will take the flag lowering ceremony in the hall. Pupils going home by the school bus will be guided by the bus attendants to their respective buses. Parents / guardians are to pick their children up (those not going home by school bus ) from the canteen between 6.30- 6.40 pm during the second week of school. After completion of the administration work, you can pick up your child from the classroom. Please do fill up the readiness checklist and Survey form and hand them to the P1 form teachers today. Reminders
