2. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE... to be saved... without God.  Mark 10:23-27  Jer 10:23  Jer 10:23 - O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.  Isaiah 55:8-9  Follow the author of salvation. Heb 5:9 Heb 5:9

3. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE... to please God... without faith.  Hebrews 11:6  All the faithful had faith and obedience.  This faith leads to a faithful life which is a life of obedience to the Lord.

4. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE... for God to lie.  Hebrews 6:18  Believe the promises and warnings. - Romans 8:12-17 Promise - Romans 8:12-17 Hebrews 6:9-12 Promise - Hebrews 6:9-12 - Hebrews 2:2-3 Warning - Hebrews 2:2-3

5. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE... that no offenses should come.  Luke 17:1 Jam 1:13-15  How are we tempted? Jam 1:13-15 Jam 1:12  We must overcome. Jam 1:12 Luke 4:1-12 Use the scriptures. Luke 4:1-12 1 Cor 10:13 Look for escapes. 1 Cor 10:13 1 John 1:9 - 2:2  If we sin, then repent and change. 1 John 1:9 - 2:2

6. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE... to renew some to repentance.  Hebrews 6:4 Gal 6:1; Jam 5:19,20  If a brother sins, we must try to turn him back. Gal 6:1; Jam 5:19,20 Heb 6:4-6  If a brother turns his back on the Lord, then there is nothing much that we can do. Heb 6:4-6  He has rejected Jesus Christ.

7. CONCLUSION In this “Impossible Sermon”, we have shown...  It is impossible to be saved without God.  It is impossible to please God without faith.  It is impossible for God to lie.

8. CONCLUSION In this “Impossible Sermon”, we have shown...  It is impossible for you not to be tempted.  It is impossible to renew you to repentance as long as your heart is turned against the Lord.
