Vita ’ s early life She was born in 1892 at Knole Castle,but she did not inherit Knole on the death of her father. She was educated at home,she began writing at a young age.

Her marriage In 1913, Vita married Harold George Nicolson (1886-1968) who was a writer and politician They had an open marriage, which both of them had Same-sex relationships. They had two children :Nigel (1917- 2004) a well know editor, politician,and writer: Benedict(1914-1978) an art historian

Affairs Rosamund Grosvenor(1888-1944) Vita ’ s first close friend They met in 1899inat Miss Wolf ’ s school As they grew up,they fell in love with each other Violet Trefusis A novelist They first met when Vita was 12 years old, their relationship began when they were teen.
