3 Instructions: The aim of this resource is to help young children identify some of the flags of European countries. Note: the file contains embedded macros which should be ‘enabled’ when prompted. The file will randomly choose the order in which the flags are chosen by Camembear. Run the slideshow from slide 1 and click on ‘Click here to start!’. At the bottom of the screen, the text tells the children which country Camembear has identified. There is also a small image of Camembear on the map pointing to the identified country. Ask the children for the number of the flag for the identified country (from the flags on the right of the screen). If they answer incorrectly the screen will show an ‘incorrect’ message and invite them to try again. Keep asking for ideas. When the correct flag is identified the country will change colour on the map (the colour of their flag). Click on ‘Correct! Next country’ and the next country will be identified. Repeat the process above until all 14 flags have been identified. Instructions: The aim of this resource is to help young children identify some of the flags of European countries.
