1 Microsoft Word Working with Templates, Forms, Tables, and Charts

2 Templates Templates are quick ways to create letterheads, business cards, letters, memos, worksheets, and other documents. The amin design of the document remains the same, but you make changes to the “details” of the document to fit your needs.

5 Forms Word forms are a convenient option for forms that are used regularly by multiple users. When saved as a template, they can be useful tools and can save several people from creating the same document. Word forms can be used repeatedly and modified without making hard copies. 6 Creating Forms Begin creating a template. Design and lay out the form. Add “form fields.” In your template, click where you want to insert the form field. – –Go to View on the Menu Bar, point to Toolbars, and click on Forms. You can insert a fill-in form where users can enter text, a check box next to an option that users can select, or a drop down list.

11 To Insert a Chart On the Insert menu, click Object, and then click the Create New tab. On the Insert menu, click Object, and then click the Create New tab. In the Object type box, click Microsoft Graph Chart, and then click OK. In the Object type box, click Microsoft Graph Chart, and then click OK.
