Formulate the Hypothesis
I think that Orville Redenbacher popcorn pops better than generic popcorn.

Identify and Control the Variables
Variable: is the brand of popcorn Control : same size bags, popping time was 3min and 30 sec.

Test Your Hypothesis To test my hypothesis I popped one bag of Orville Redenbacher popcorn and one bag of generic popcorn. Next we counted the number of popcorn kernels in generic and found a total of 395 kernels. Then we counted the number of kernels in Orville Redenbacher popcorn and we found 338 kernels.

Collect Your Data Generic = 395 Redenbacher = 338

Interpret Your Data According to my data I collected that there is more Generic popcorn than Redenbacher popcorn.

State Your Conclusion I was wrong, the generic brand is better to buy because I get more popcorn. I know that the generic popcorn is cheaper so it is the one to buy.
