The scientific method is a organized way of working. It is also about the people who identify and do hypothesis. They can also find and observe things around them.

3. State the Problem
Does Orville Redenbacher popcorn pop better than generic popcorn?

4. Formulate the Hypothesis
I think that Orville Redenbacher popcorn pops better than generic popcorn.

5. Identify and Control the Variables
Variable: is the brand of popcorn
Control : same size bags, popping time was 3min and 30 sec.

6. Test Your Hypothesis
To test my hypothesis I popped one bag of Orville Redenbacher popcorn and one bag of generic popcorn. Next we counted the number of popcorn kernels in generic and found a total of 395 kernels. Then we counted the number of kernels in Orville Redenbacher popcorn and we found 338 kernels.

7. Collect Your Data
Generic = 395
Redenbacher = 338

8. Interpret Your Data
According to my data I collected that there is more Generic popcorn than Redenbacher popcorn.

9. State Your Conclusion
I was wrong, the generic brand is better to buy because I get more popcorn. I know that the generic popcorn is cheaper so it is the one to buy.
